Stuffed Beef and Cheese Potato Cakes

Ingredients:

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and grated
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix grated potatoes with salt. Squeeze out excess moisture.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and form potato cakes, frying until golden brown. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Add onions, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until onions are translucent.
  4. Place a spoonful of beef mixture onto a potato cake, top with shredded cheese, and cover with another potato cake, sealing the edges.
  5. Fry stuffed potato cakes until crispy and golden brown.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy the cheesy goodness with savory beef!
