Philly Cheese Steak Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 2 bell peppers, chopped
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef.
  3. Once partially browned, add the chopped onions and bell peppers to the skillet. Cook until the meat is fully browned and the vegetables begin to soften.
  4. Add the seasoned salt and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for another 30 seconds. Drain any excess grease.
  5. Layer the browned beef in the bottom of a well-greased 9×9 baking dish.
  6. Top the beef with the slices of provolone cheese.
  7. In a bowl, mix together the heavy whipping cream, Worcestershire sauce, and eggs. Pour this mixture over the beef and cheese in the baking dish.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until cooked through.
