Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo Pasta ๐๐
Ingredients:
- 45 ml (3 tbsp) basil oil
- 10 ml (2 tsp) Cajun seasoning
- 1 lb (454 g) boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1 large green or red bell pepper, seeded and quartered
- 60 g (12 cups) Andouille or chorizo sausage, chopped
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 chopped tomato (about 250 ml/1 cup)
- 250 ml (1 cup) milk
- 1 pack Knorrยฎ Sidekicksยฎ Fettuccine Alfredo
Preparation:
- In a medium bowl, combine 30 ml (2 tbsp) of Becelยฎ Oil and Cajun seasoning. Add chicken and pepper, tossing to coat evenly.
- Roast or grill the chicken and pepper, flipping once, until chicken is cooked through and vegetables are tender, about 6 minutes. Slice the vegetables and chicken. Keep warm.
- Heat the remaining 15 ml (1 tbsp) of oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook the sausage, stirring frequently, until golden, about 3 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 2 minutes.
- In the same saucepan, add 175 ml (3/4 cup) of water and milk. Bring to a boil over high heat. Stir in Knorrยฎ Sidekicksยฎ Fettuccine Alfredo and return to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium, cover, and cook, stirring constantly, for 8 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
- Serve the chicken and peppers with the pasta.
