Chicken Meatballs in Cream Sauce ‘TREBYAN’

Ingredients for 4 servings (16 pieces):

  • Chicken fillet – 500 g
  • Egg – 1 piece
  • Onion – 1 piece (150 g)
  • Olive oil – 2 ml
  • Garlic – 4 cloves
  • Ginger – 1 tbsp
  • Tomato paste – 2 tbsp
  • Cream 10% fat – 250 ml
  • Curry spices – 4 tsp
  • Smoked paprika – 1 tsp
  • Ground chili – 1/3 tsp
  • Cardamom – 1/3 tsp
  • Cinnamon – 1/3 tsp
  • Dried basil – 1 tsp

Preparation:

  1. Grind the onion in a meat grinder together with the chicken fillet.
  2. Add egg and 1 clove of garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Mix well and shape the meatballs with wet hands. Fry the meatballs in a skillet with oil on medium heat until golden brown on all sides.
  4. Add spices, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger, and tomato paste to the cream. Pour over the meatballs and simmer covered for about 10-15 minutes. Serve with any side dish.
