Delicious Sugar Donuts

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 10 grams of dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup of cow’s milk
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • Extra flour, for dusting
  • Sufficient oil, for frying
  • Additional sugar, for sprinkling

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, milk, sugar, salt, and eggs. Knead the mixture until it forms a smooth dough. Add the butter and continue kneading for an additional 15 minutes or until the dough is elastic and smooth.
  2. Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rest for 1 hour, allowing it to rise.
  3. After the dough has rested, roll it out on a floured surface to about 1 cm thickness using a rolling pin. Let it sit on the surface for 10 minutes before cutting.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pot over medium heat. Carefully fry the donuts in batches, turning them once they are golden brown on one side. Once both sides are golden brown, remove them from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  5. While still warm, sprinkle the donuts generously with sugar.
