Ingredients:

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 (4.5 ounce) can of tuna, drained and flaked
  • 2 teaspoons sweet pickle relish, drained
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon white sugar (optional)
  • ⅛ teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 ½ tablespoons mayonnaise, or as needed
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 pinch of paprika, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Eggs: Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let the eggs stand in the hot water for 15 minutes. Afterward, transfer the eggs to cold running water to cool, then peel them.
  2. Prepare the Filling: Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks, placing them in a small bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork and mix in the tuna, pickle relish, mustard, sugar (if using), and onion powder. Gradually stir in the mayonnaise until the mixture achieves a creamy yet firm consistency. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Assemble: Arrange the egg white halves on a serving platter. Spoon the tuna mixture into the egg white halves and sprinkle with paprika.
