Air Fryer Lasagna Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Meat Sauce:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Ricotta Mixture:
- 1 container (15 oz) ricotta cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Other Ingredients:
- 12 lasagna noodles, cooked according to package instructions
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Meat Sauce:
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until the onion becomes translucent.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer the sauce for 15-20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
2. Prepare the Ricotta Mixture:
- In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, chopped fresh parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
3. Assemble the Lasagna:
- Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of a baking dish that fits in your air fryer.
- Place a layer of cooked lasagna noodles over the sauce, trimming the noodles to fit if necessary.
- Spread a layer of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers until you run out of ingredients, finishing with a layer of meat sauce and mozzarella cheese on top.
4. Cook in the Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the baking dish in the air fryer basket and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese on top is golden and bubbly.
5. Serve:
- Allow the lasagna to cool for a few minutes before slicing.
