Irresistible Garlic Buns Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 400 g (3¼ cups) all-purpose flour
  • 50g (1/4 cup) sugar
  • 1 cup lukewarm milk
  • 5 g (1 tsp) salt
  • 7g dry yeast
  • 55g (1/4 cup) butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 8 g (1 tbsp.) minced garlic

Garlic Butter:

  • 55g (1/3 cup) salted butter, melted
  • 8 g (1 tbsp.) minced garlic
  • 1 g (2 tsp) dried parsley

Instructions:

  1. Begin by combining flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast in a bowl. Mix thoroughly before adding lukewarm milk and an egg.
  2. Knead the dough with a mixer for 5 minutes. Cover it with a towel and let it rest for 20 minutes. Then, incorporate softened butter and minced garlic, continuing to knead until the dough becomes elastic.
  3. Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover it, and allow it to rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
  4. Once risen, transfer the dough to a work surface, shape it into a square, and divide it into 25 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball, cover, and let rest for 15 minutes.
  5. Shape the dough balls slightly more by tucking in the edges and placing them in a greased mold. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  6. While the dough is rising, prepare the garlic butter by combining minced garlic, dried parsley, and melted butter in a bowl. Mix well.
  7. Brush the tops of the risen rolls with garlic butter and bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 15-17 minutes.
  8. Once out of the oven and still warm, brush the rolls with a little more garlic butter for an extra burst of flavor. Serve and enjoy the irresistible taste of these Garlic Buns!
