Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 100g sugar
- 1 pack vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- A pinch of salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 pack baking powder (about 1 teaspoon)
- 50g raisins
For Garnish:
- Jam
- Desiccated coconut
Instructions:
- Preparation: Preheat your oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F). Grease a cake pan with butter or oil and set aside.
- Mixing the Batter: In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy. Add yogurt, milk, and vegetable oil, mixing well after each addition.
- Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Sift in the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt directly into the wet mixture. Mix gently until just combined. Fold in the raisins evenly.
- Baking: Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, spreading it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
