Penne Pasta with Meatballs Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2.2 lbs (1 kg) Ground beef mixture
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs
- ½ cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon Knorrox All-in-one seasoning
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 2 cups penne pasta, cooked according to package directions, drained, and set aside
- ¼ cup mushrooms, sliced
- ½ onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
- ¼ cup green pepper, diced
- 1 tomato, grated
- 250 ml fresh cream
- 1 tablespoon Knorrox All-in-one seasoning
Method:
- Prepare the Meatballs: Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, Knorrox All-in-one seasoning, and olive oil in a large bowl. Roll into balls and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes or until fully cooked.
- Cook the Penne Pasta: Cook penne pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce: In a large pan, sauté onions, green pepper, and garlic until softened. Add grated tomato and mushrooms, cook for an additional 2 minutes. Pour in fresh cream, simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Combine Everything: Gently stir in the cooked penne pasta and meatballs into the sauce, ensuring everything is well combined. Season to taste with Knorrox All-in-one seasoning.
- Serve: Optionally, sprinkle with cheese before serving.
