Savory Mississippi Mud Potatoes
Recipe: Mississippi Mud Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup crème fraîche
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Cook the potatoes:
- Boil the cubed potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and let cool slightly.
- Mix the ingredients:
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked potatoes, crumbled bacon, grated cheddar cheese, crème fraîche, mayonnaise, and chopped green onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cooking:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, until heated through and the cheese is melted.
