French Silk Brownies Recipe

French Silk Brownies – I stumbled upon this recipe and couldn’t resist trying it out. Trust me, it’s 100% worth it for a simple yet incredibly delicious dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of brownie mix
  • 2 containers of Cool Whip
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 oz baking chocolate bar
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 block cream cheese
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the brownies according to the package instructions. Bake and let them cool completely.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the block of cream cheese with vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Gradually add powdered sugar, one cup at a time, mixing until well combined.
  4. Melt the baking chocolate (excluding two pieces) and the stick of butter together, then add to the cream cheese mixture and mix well.
  5. Fold in one container of Cool Whip until fully incorporated.
  6. Spread this mixture evenly over the cooled brownies.
  7. Top with the second container of Cool Whip.
  8. Shave the remaining two pieces of chocolate into small pieces and sprinkle over the Cool Whip layer.
  9. Refrigerate until firm before serving.
