  • 150g cabbage, finely chopped
  • Hot water
  • Cold water
  • 15g green onion, finely sliced
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/6 tsp black pepper
  • 1/3 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions:

Step 1: Prep the Cabbage

  1. Begin by finely chopping the cabbage and placing it in a large bowl.
  2. Pour hot water over the cabbage, allowing it to soak for a few minutes.
  3. Drain and transfer the cabbage to a bowl of cold water to stop the cooking process.
  4. Squeeze out any excess water and finely chop the cabbage again for a smoother texture.

Step 2: Prepare the Ingredients

  1. Thinly slice the green onions.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cabbage, green onions, and eggs.
  3. Season the mixture with black pepper, chili powder, and salt.
  4. Stir well to ensure the cabbage, eggs, and seasonings are evenly mixed.

Step 3: Cook the Egg Rolls

  1. Preheat a frying pan over medium heat and add the cooking oil.
  2. Once the oil is hot, pour a thin layer of the cabbage-egg mixture into the pan.
  3. Cook on low heat, carefully rolling the egg mixture as it cooks using a spoon or spatula.
  4. Gradually pour and roll additional layers of the egg mixture until all of it is used, forming a roll.

Step 4: Finishing Touches

  1. Shift the egg roll towards the edge of the pan as you go for better handling.
  2. Fry each side of the roll for around 30 seconds to ensure it cooks evenly.
  3. Once done, remove the roll from the pan and cut it into bite-sized pieces.

Step 5: Serve
