Baked Salmon with Lemon Dill Butter is a delicious and easy recipe.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray or a small amount of olive oil.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, lemon zest, lemon juice, chopped dill, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Place the salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish, skin-side down if applicable.
  5. Generously spread the lemon dill butter mixture over each salmon fillet, ensuring an even coating.
  6. If desired, place lemon slices on top of the salmon for added flavor and garnish.
  7. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  8. The internal temperature of the salmon should reach 145°F (63°C) for safe consumption.
  9. Once done, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  10. Carefully transfer the salmon fillets to serving plates, spooning any remaining lemon dill butter from the baking dish over the top.

Notes

  • Serve with a side of vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
  • Adjust the seasoning based on your preference.
