This recipe is an effortless delight, perfect for quick preparation. These cupcakes are always a hit, and the recipe yields 24 cupcakes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box Vanilla cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon Bovril
  • Smoked ham cream cheese
  • Grated Cheddar cheese
  • Biltong pieces

Instructions:

  1. Preparation: Preheat your oven and prepare the vanilla cake mix as per the instructions on the box. If available, use foil cupcake liners for better results.
  2. Baking: Bake the cupcakes according to the package instructions.
  3. Butter and Bovril Mixture: While the cupcakes are baking, melt the butter and Bovril together.
  4. Infusing the Cupcakes: Once the cupcakes are baked and still warm, poke holes in them using a sosatie stick. Pour one tablespoon of the melted butter and Bovril mixture over each cupcake.
  5. Cooling: Allow the cupcakes to cool completely.
  6. Frosting and Topping: Spread a generous layer of smoked ham cream cheese over each cupcake. Top with grated Cheddar cheese and garnish with biltong pieces.
