Breakfast Lasagna: An Incredible Ultimate Recipe for 5 Amazing Servings

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage, crumbled
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the crumbled sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease and set aside.
  3. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the egg mixture on the bottom. Place 3 noodles on top.
  6. Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the noodles, followed by half of the cooked sausage, and a third of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  7. Pour another layer of the egg mixture over the cheese, then add another 3 noodles. Repeat the layers with the remaining ricotta, sausage, and cheeses.
  8. Place the final 3 noodles on top, pour the remaining egg mixture over the top, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  9. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let the Breakfast Lasagna cool for about 10-15 minutes before slicing.
