Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo Pasta ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo Pasta ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

Ingredients:

  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) basil oil
  • 10 ml (2 tsp) Cajun seasoning
  • 1 lb (454 g) boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 large green or red bell pepper, seeded and quartered
  • 60 g (12 cups) Andouille or chorizo sausage, chopped
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 chopped tomato (about 250 ml/1 cup)
  • 250 ml (1 cup) milk
  • 1 pack Knorrยฎ Sidekicksยฎ Fettuccine Alfredo

Preparation:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine 30 ml (2 tbsp) of Becelยฎ Oil and Cajun seasoning. Add chicken and pepper, tossing to coat evenly.
  2. Roast or grill the chicken and pepper, flipping once, until chicken is cooked through and vegetables are tender, about 6 minutes. Slice the vegetables and chicken. Keep warm.
  3. Heat the remaining 15 ml (1 tbsp) of oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook the sausage, stirring frequently, until golden, about 3 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  5. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 2 minutes.
  6. In the same saucepan, add 175 ml (3/4 cup) of water and milk. Bring to a boil over high heat. Stir in Knorrยฎ Sidekicksยฎ Fettuccine Alfredo and return to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium, cover, and cook, stirring constantly, for 8 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
  7. Serve the chicken and peppers with the pasta.
