Father’s Day Feast
Father’s Day calls for something special! 🥩🦞 Indulge in our Surf and Turf Dinner – the perfect blend of land and sea.
Ingredients:
- 2 New York Strip steaks, about 12 oz each
- 2 lobster tails, about 6 oz each
- 2 large baking potatoes
- 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chives, chopped
- 1/4 cup bacon bits
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Prep Time: 20 minutes | Cooking Time: 60 minutes | Total Time: 80 minutes
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Potatoes: Wash and pierce the potatoes with a fork, then bake directly on the rack for 45-60 minutes until tender.
- Steak: Season the steaks with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet with olive oil over high heat and sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Let rest for 5 minutes.
- Lobster Tails: Cut the lobster shells lengthwise. Lift the tail meat slightly and place butter and garlic underneath. Place on a baking sheet and broil for 8-10 minutes until opaque.
- Asparagus: Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast on a baking sheet in the oven for 12-15 minutes.
- Loaded Baked Potatoes: Slice the top of each potato, fluff with a fork, and add butter, sour cream, chives, bacon bits, and cheddar cheese.
