  • 1 tablespoon Granulated Sugar
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Fresh Cracked Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Chopped Scallions
  • 1 cup Grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Thick Buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1/4 cup Coarse Yellow Cornmeal

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm water with instant yeast and granulated sugar. Let it sit until frothy.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F and prepare a loaf pan with cooking spray and cornmeal.
  3. Whisk together all-purpose flour, kosher salt, baking soda, and cracked pepper in a mixing bowl.
