Ingredients:
- 1 ⅝ cups flour
- 7g dry yeast
- 3g salt
- 180ml warm milk
- 45g butter
- 1 egg
- 125g shredded cheese
- 3 tbsp chopped parsley
- Softened butter
- Egg wash

Prepare the Dough:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
- Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and add the yeast, warm milk, butter, and egg.
- Whisk the wet ingredients together, gradually incorporating the flour from the sides until a dough forms.

Knead the Dough:
- Once the dough starts to come together, knead it thoroughly until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Shape the dough into a ball and let it rest for 1 hour to rise.

Shape and Fill:
- Divide the dough into quarters and roll each piece into a ball.
- Roll each ball out into a rectangular shape.
- Brush two of the rectangles with softened butter, then sprinkle evenly with shredded cheese and chopped parsley.
- Place the remaining two rectangles of dough on top of the filled ones.

Twist the Strips:
- Lightly roll over the layers with a rolling pin to secure them together.
- Cut the dough into strips.
- Pair the strips together, brushing a little more butter between them, and twist each pair as shown in the tutorial video.

Final Preparation and Baking:
- Place the twisted strips on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Let them rest for another 20 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Brush the twists with egg wash.
- Bake for 25 minutes, or until golden brown and deliciously fragrant.
