Chicken Fried Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
- 6-8 thinly sliced chicken breasts
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Instructions:
- Prepare the Coating:
In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the Chicken:
Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, ensuring an even coating on all sides.
- Fry the Chicken:
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add enough oil to cover the bottom. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the coated chicken breasts into the skillet. Fry each side for about 4-5 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve:
Remove the chicken from the skillet and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
