1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups marinara sauce
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh basil, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Boil the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Using a spoon, fill each pasta shell with the chicken and cheese mixture.
Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Place the stuffed shells in the baking dish, open side up.
Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the top of the stuffed shells.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
