Chicken & Stuffing Bake is a comforting and delicious dish that combines chicken, stuffing, and cheese.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a greased baking dish. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.
  3. In a bowl, combine the stuffing mix with chicken broth, mixing until moist.
  4. Evenly spread the stuffing mixture over the chicken breasts.
  5. Spoon the cream of chicken soup over the stuffing layer, spreading it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the soup layer.
  7. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
