Chocolate Biscuit Pudding

Ingredients:

For the Chocolate Biscuit Layer:

  • 400g biscuits
  • 400ml milk (2 cups)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (40g)
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch (30g)
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa (20g)
  • 100g dark chocolate

For the Cream Layer:

  • 250ml sweetened cream
  • 200g dark chocolate
  • White chocolate flakes for garnish (to taste)

Directions:

For the Chocolate Biscuit Layer:

  1. Break the biscuits into small pieces and place them in a large bowl.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, corn starch, and unsweetened cocoa. Stir well until smooth.
  3. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle boil, stirring constantly.
  4. Once the mixture thickens, remove it from the heat and add the dark chocolate. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
  5. Pour the chocolate mixture over the broken biscuits in the bowl. Mix until the biscuits are well coated.
  6. Transfer the chocolate biscuit mixture to a serving dish or individual dessert cups. Smooth the top with a spatula. Let it cool and set while preparing the cream layer.

For the Cream Layer:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the sweetened cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate in the microwave or over a double boiler, stirring until smooth.
  3. Once the melted chocolate has cooled slightly, fold it into the whipped cream until well combined.
  4. Spread the chocolate cream mixture over the cooled chocolate biscuit layer in the serving dish or cups. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Refrigerate the chocolate biscuit pudding for at least 2 hours, or until set.

For Serving:

  1. Before serving, garnish the chocolate biscuit pudding with white chocolate flakes according to your taste.
  2. Slice and serve your irresistible Chocolate Biscuit Pudding, and enjoy!
