- 1 tablespoon Pure Vanilla Extract (Adds depth of flavor.)
- 0.5 teaspoon Almond Extract (Provides a subtle nutty aroma.)
- 3.25 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 3 tablespoons Cornstarch
- 0.125 teaspoon Salt
- 11.5 ounces Dark Chocolate Chips
- 0.75 cups Chopped Maraschino Cherries (Juices drained.)
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and prepare a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream margarine and SPLENDA® blend for about 2 minutes until fluffy. Then add vanilla and almond extracts.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until just combined.
- Fold in dark chocolate chips and chopped maraschino cherries.
- Spread the dough evenly in the baking dish.
- Bake for approximately 30 minutes until edges are golden brown.
