Ingredients
Scale
6 cups cornflakes
1 cup mini marshmallows
½ cup unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon green food coloring
½ cup red candy berries (like M&M’s or red hots)
Cooking spray or wax paper (for shaping)
Instructions
Spray a large bowl with cooking spray or line a baking sheet with wax paper for easy cleanup.
Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the vanilla extract and green food coloring until well combined.
Gently fold in the cornflakes, ensuring they are evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture. Be careful not to crush the cornflakes too much.
Allow the mixture to cool slightly. With greased hands, take small portions of the mixture and shape them into wreaths (about 3-4 inches in diameter) by forming a circle and pinching the center to create a hole.
Place red candy berries on each wreath for decoration, pressing them lightly into the mixture.
Place the shaped wreaths on the prepared baking sheet. Allow them to set at room temperature for about 30 minutes until firm.
Once set, you can serve them immediately or store them in an airtight container for later.
Notes
Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
