  • 1 Large Egg (Can swap for unsweetened applesauce)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (Or peppermint extract for a twist)
  • 15.25 oz Yellow Cake Mix (Can substitute with white or vanilla mix)
  • 0.5 cup Powdered Sugar (For rolling dough balls)
  • 0.5 cup Holiday Sprinkles (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Beat together cream cheese and butter until smooth, then add egg and vanilla and mix until fluffy.
  3. Gradually stir in cake mix until a thick, uniform dough forms.
  4. Fold in holiday sprinkles gently until evenly distributed.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Form dough balls about 1.5 inches in diameter and roll in powdered sugar.
  7. Place dough balls on baking sheets, spaced 2 inches apart, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  8. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
