This easy homemade Christmas Jam, a delightful blend of fresh cranberries and strawberries with warming spices, is perfect for festive gifting or enjoying on scones, yogurt, and more. Made in a slow cooker, it’s a quick and easy holiday treat.

Ingredients

  • 24 oz Fresh Cranberries
  • 16 oz Fresh Strawberries
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Ground Cloves
  • 1 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 2 cups Brown Sugar

Instructions

  1. Wash cranberries and strawberries. Remove stems and chop strawberries.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cranberries, strawberries, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and brown sugar. Stir until well-coated.
  3. Transfer the fruit mixture to a slow cooker. Cover, set to HIGH, and cook for 4 hours.
  4. After cooking, carefully blend the mixture in small batches to achieve a jam-like consistency.
  5. Transfer the Christmas Jam into clean jars. Allow to cool at room temperature for about an hour before sealing.

Notes

  • Store in airtight jars in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 6 months.
  • Leave an inch of space in jars when freezing to allow for expansion.
  • Thaw frozen jam in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Label jars with storage instructions when gifting.
