- 1 cup Popcorn Kernels
- 3 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 5 cups Miniature Marshmallows
- 1 cup Red and Green M&M Candies
- 1/4 cup Festive Sprinkles
- Pop about 1 cup of popcorn kernels using an air popper or stovetop method and set aside.
- Melt 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a large pot over medium-low heat, then add and stir in 5 cups of miniature marshmallows until smooth.
- Pour the melted marshmallow mixture over the popcorn and fold until evenly coated.
- Mix in 1 cup of red and green M&M candies and 1/4 cup of festive sprinkles, then allow to cool for 10 minutes.
- Shape the mixture into tight balls and repeat until done.
- Place the popcorn balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool completely for at least 30 minutes.
Notes
- Feel free to use microwave popcorn for convenience.
- Salted butter can be used; reduce added salt.
- Use mini marshmallows for the best consistency.
