Corned Beef Reuben Sandwich
Ingredients:
- 8 slices of rye bread
- 1 pound of thinly sliced corned beef
- 1 cup of drained sauerkraut
- 8 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup of Russian dressing
- Butter for grilling
Instructions:
- Preheat the Skillet: Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Assemble the Sandwiches:
- Spread Russian dressing on one side of each slice of bread.
- On four slices of bread, layer the corned beef, sauerkraut, and two slices of Swiss cheese.
- Place the remaining slices of bread on top, dressing side down.
- Grill the Sandwiches:
- Butter the outside of each sandwich.
- Grill on the preheated skillet until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, approximately 3-4 minutes per side.
- Serve: Cut the sandwiches in half and serve hot.
