Cream Cheese Garlic Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 large French baguette or Italian loaf
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

2. Prepare the Bread:

Slice the baguette or Italian loaf in half lengthwise.

Place the bread halves on the prepared baking sheet, cut side up.

3. Make the Cream Cheese Mixture:

In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth and well blended.

Stir in the minced garlic, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped fresh parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

4. Spread the Mixture:

Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread halves.

Ensure the entire surface of the bread is covered with the creamy mixture.

5. Bake the Bread:

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown and crispy around the edges.

6. Serve:

Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool slightly.

Slice the bread into individual pieces and serve hot.
