Creamy Shrimp and Crab Spinach Dip
Delicious creamy dip with shrimp, crab, spinach, and cheeses.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1/2 pound lump crab meat, picked over for shells
- 1 cup cooked spinach, squeezed dry and chopped
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth. Stir in Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic, Old Bay seasoning, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Fold in Seafood and Spinach: Gently fold in the chopped shrimp, crab meat, and spinach until evenly distributed.
- Transfer to Baking Dish: Spoon the mixture into a baking dish (a 9-inch pie plate works well). Sprinkle additional grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Bake the Dip: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the top is golden.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley or chives. Serve warm with crackers, toasted bread, or vegetable sticks.
