Ingredients
Scale
12 ounces of semisweet chocolate chips
12 ounces of white chocolate chips
1 cup of crushed pretzels
1 cup of mini marshmallows
1 cup of colorful sprinkles
½ cup of chopped nuts (optional)
ÂĽ cup of dried cranberries or cherries (optional)
Instructions
Prepare a Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent the bark from sticking.
Melt the Semisweet Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semisweet chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
Spread the Chocolate: Pour the melted semisweet chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet. Use a spatula to spread it evenly into a rectangle.
Chill the Chocolate: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set slightly.
Melt the White Chocolate: While the semisweet chocolate is setting, melt the white chocolate chips in a separate bowl using the same microwave method.
Spread the White Chocolate: Once the semisweet chocolate has set, pour the melted white chocolate over it. Gently spread it to cover the semisweet layer.
Add Toppings: Immediately sprinkle the crushed pretzels, mini marshmallows, colorful sprinkles, and any additional toppings you desire over the white chocolate layer. Press them down gently to ensure they stick.
Chill Again: Return the baking sheet to the refrigerator for another 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate is fully set.
Break into Pieces: Once set, remove the bark from the refrigerator. Break it into pieces of your desired size.
Serve: Place the bark on a serving platter or store it in an airtight container.
