Baked Lobster Tails with Garlic Lemon Butter

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 fresh lobster tails
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Using kitchen shears, cut lengthwise through the top shell of the lobster tails, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pry the shells open and lift the tail meat to rest above the shell.
  3. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, zest, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush the garlic lemon butter mixture over the lobster meat.
  5. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and roast for about 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and slightly golden.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
