  • 1 potato, grated and squeezed for juice
  • 1 capia pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 green pepper, finely chopped
  • Half a bunch of parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.5 cups warm milk
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 50 g cheese, grated
  • 5 g (half a packet) yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine grated potato, capia pepper, green pepper, and parsley.
  2. Add eggs, warm milk, warm water, yeast, and sugar. Mix well.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Stir in grated cheese and gradually add flour, mixing until smooth.
  5. Cover the bowl and let the batter rest for 30 minutes.
  6. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  7. Using a ladle, carefully scoop batter into the hot oil to form small, round puff balls.
  8. Fry until golden brown on all sides, turning as needed.
  9. Remove and drain on paper towels.
