An Amazing Ultimate Recipe for Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces spaghetti or linguine
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the spaghetti or linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Allow it to bubble but not brown.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until pink, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked through.
  5. Once the shrimp are cooked, add the drained pasta to the skillet. Pour in the lemon juice and toss everything together to combine well.
  6. Add the chopped parsley and toss again. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  7. Remove from heat and serve immediately. Top with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
