Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs lamb chops
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add lamb chops to the marinade and coat them evenly. Let sit for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear lamb chops for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness. Remove lamb chops from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and sliced garlic to the skillet.
  6. Cook until butter is melted and garlic is fragrant, about 1 minute.
  7. Return lamb chops to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over them.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a deeper flavor, marinate the lamb chops for up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the lamb chops and your preferred level of doneness.
  • Ensure the skillet is hot before adding the lamb chops for a good sear.
