Grilled Beef Ribs

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds beef ribs

For the Rub:

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (see Notes)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

For Serving

  • ½ cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine all rub ingredients in a bowl until well-blended. Pour over beef ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours to marinate.
  2. Preheat the grill to 250°F.
  3. Place the ribs on the grill over indirect heat.
  4. Cover and cook for approximately 1 ½ hours, flipping every 20 minutes.
  5. Brush with barbecue sauce during the last 10 to 20 minutes of cooking.
  6. Serve warm.
