Ingredients
Scale
1 package refrigerated pie crusts (usually contains 2)
1 cup diced ham
1 cup diced turkey
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Unroll the refrigerated pie crusts on a clean surface.
In a bowl, combine diced ham, diced turkey, shredded cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Using a large round cookie cutter or a glass, cut circles from the pie crusts. Aim for about 4-5 inches in diameter.
Place a spoonful of the ham and turkey mixture in the center of each circle.
Fold the crust over the filling to create a half-moon shape. Press the edges together to seal. You can crimp the edges with a fork for a decorative touch.
Place the filled pockets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, whisk the egg. Brush the egg wash over the tops of the pockets for a golden finish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
