  2. Blend Eggs and Sugar: In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg yolks and sugar until the mixture turns pale and creamy. Add flour and mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Combine with Hot Milk: Gradually pour the hot milk into the egg mixture, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  4. Thicken the Cream: Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the cream thickens. Remove from heat and set aside.
