Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken tenders
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions:
- Marinate the Chicken: In a large bowl, whisk together the buttermilk and eggs. Add the chicken tenders, ensuring they are fully submerged in the mixture. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for the best results.
- Prepare the Flour Mixture: In a shallow dish, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the buttermilk mixture, letting the excess drip off. Dredge each tender in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess. For an extra crunchy texture, dip the chicken again in the buttermilk mixture and then back into the flour mixture.
- Fry the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Fry the chicken tenders in batches until they are golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Transfer the cooked tenders to a wire rack to drain any excess oil.
