Ingredients:

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Spread approximately one tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto each triangle of dough.
  5. Roll up each triangle, starting from the wider end and tucking the ends to seal the filling inside.
  6. Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
