Ingredients:
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
- In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread approximately one tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto each triangle of dough.
- Roll up each triangle, starting from the wider end and tucking the ends to seal the filling inside.
- Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
