Meatball and Potato Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 10 medium potatoes, boiled and sliced
  • 500g ground beef or meat of your choice
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 350g sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 150g grated cheese

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, chopped onion, salt, and pepper.
  2. Peel and slice the boiled potatoes. Arrange the potato slices evenly in an ovenproof dish.
  3. Shape the meat mixture into meatballs and place them over the potato slices in the dish.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together sour cream, eggs, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the sour cream mixture evenly over the meatballs and potatoes.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 45 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through.
  7. Sprinkle grated cheese over the casserole and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
