Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cups white sugar
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (6-ounce) package milk chocolate chips
- 16 large marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Preparation
- In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly, and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the chocolate chips to the saucepan and cook until fully melted, continuing to stir.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the marshmallows, vanilla extract, and chopped nuts until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into an 8-inch pan, spreading it evenly.
- Allow the fudge to cool, then cut it into squares.
