Peach Nachos Supreme is a creative dessert that transforms traditional nachos into a sweet, fruity treat. It features juicy peaches, crunchy cinnamon-sugar tortilla chips, creamy yogurt, and a drizzle of caramel sauce, making it a perfect shareable dessert for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup cinnamon-sugar tortilla chips
  • 1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt or whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips, melted
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Zest of 1 lemon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Peaches: Wash the peaches and slice them into thin wedges. You can peel them for a softer texture if desired.
  2. Layer the Nachos: On a large serving platter, spread the cinnamon-sugar tortilla chips evenly to form the base.
  3. Add the Peaches: Scatter the peach slices generously over the tortilla chips.
  4. Dollop the Yogurt: Spoon the vanilla Greek yogurt or whipped cream over the nachos, drizzling it evenly across the peaches and chips.
  5. Drizzle with Caramel Sauce: Pour the caramel sauce over the top in a zigzag pattern.
  6. Melt the Chocolate: Melt the dark chocolate chips using a microwave (in 15-second intervals, stirring) or a double boiler until smooth.
  7. Finish with Nuts and Zest: Drizzle the melted chocolate over the nachos and sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts on top. If using, sprinkle lemon zest over the entire platter.
  8. Garnish and Serve: Arrange fresh mint leaves on top for color and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, peel the peaches before slicing.
  • Consider warming the caramel sauce slightly for a better drizzle.
  • If the melted chocolate is too thick, add a teaspoon of coconut oil or vegetable oil to thin it out.
  • This dessert is best served immediately after preparation.
