Pizza Bombs Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons butter, for greasing the pan
  • 1 (16.5 oz) can biscuit dough
  • Marinara sauce
  • Sliced pepperoni
  • 8 oz ball mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Shredded Parmesan cheese, for topping

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and grease lightly with butter.
  2. Cut each biscuit in half and press each half into a circle with your thumb.
  3. Place a small dollop of marinara sauce in the center of each biscuit round. Add a slice of pepperoni and a cube of mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
  4. Bring the edges of the biscuit dough up and over the filling, pressing together to seal completely. Ensure there are no gaps for the filling to leak out. Place each assembled pizza bomb on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  6. Brush each pizza bomb generously with the butter mixture. Sprinkle shredded Parmesan cheese on top of each bomb.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pizza bombs are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Once cooled slightly, serve the pizza bombs with marinara sauce for dipping.
