Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pie Crust:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
    • Roll out the pie dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8-inch thickness. Transfer the dough to a pie plate, trimming the edges to leave about 1/2 inch beyond the rim. Crimp the edges and refrigerate the crust in the pie plate for 30 minutes.
  2. Pre-bake the Pie Crust:
    • Line the chilled pie crust with a double layer of aluminum foil, gently pressing it onto the bottom and sides. Fill the foil-lined crust with pie weights, dried beans, or uncooked rice to prevent it from puffing up.
    • Place the pie crust in the air fryer basket and air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden brown. Remove the foil and weights carefully.
  3. Prepare the Filling:
