  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Beat the room temperature butter until light and fluffy, then gradually add sugar.
  3. Incorporate egg, orange zest, and orange liqueur until blended.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped dark chocolate until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop rounded balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets and bake for 12-14 minutes.
  8. Let baked cookies cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  9. For the glaze, combine powdered sugar, melted butter, and a splash of orange juice until smooth.
  10. Dip the tops of cooled cookies in the glaze, sprinkle with flake sea salt, and let set.
