A Savory Herbed Garlic Delight recipe featuring ciabatta bread baked with a rich mixture of butter, fresh garlic, parsley, thyme, and rosemary. This easy-to-make garlic bread is perfect as an appetizer, side dish, or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large loaf of ciabatta bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter with the minced garlic, chopped parsley, thyme, rosemary, sea salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Mix well until all the herbs are fully incorporated into the butter.
  3. Cut the ciabatta loaf in half lengthwise, creating two open faces. Place the halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  4. Generously spread the garlic herb butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the ciabatta.
  5. If you choose to include cheese, sprinkle the grated Parmesan evenly over the buttered surface.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the bread is golden and the edges are crispy.
  7. For an extra crunchy finish, switch the oven to broil for an additional 2-3 minutes, but keep a close eye on it to avoid burning.
  8. Remove from the oven, let it cool for a minute, then cut into individual pieces and serve warm.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh herbs.
  • Adjust the amount of garlic and herbs to your preference.
  • Keep a close watch during broiling to prevent burning.
