  • 500 g cabbage, finely chopped
  • 100 g onion, finely chopped
  • 100 g carrot, grated
  • 60 ml vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Pepper to taste
  • 500 g chicken breast, diced

For the Batter:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 100 g sour cream
  • 100 g flour
  • 4 g baking powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vegetables by chopping the cabbage and onions finely and grating the carrot.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Sauté the carrots first, then add the onions, followed by the cabbage.
  3. Season the vegetable mixture with salt and pepper, cover, and cook for 3-5 minutes until slightly softened.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, and sour cream until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the flour and baking powder, stirring to form a smooth batter.
  6. Dice the chicken breast into small, even pieces.
  7. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  8. Pour a thin layer of batter onto the prepared baking tray.
  9. Spread half of the cooked vegetable mixture over the batter layer.
  10. Add the diced chicken pieces, then cover with the remaining vegetable mixture.
  11. Pour the remaining batter over the top to finish.
  12. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown and fully cooked.
